Agreed upfront. No hourly billing.
A source is a wallet, exchange, or brokerage. Additional years and complexity are quoted separately.
No. Start with the exchanges, wallets, and brokerages you remember using, plus any questions you have. We’ll help you work out which records are needed. Please don’t send financial documents or wallet credentials with your initial request.
Absolutely. Reconciliation is our core service. We prepare your reconciled records, Form 8949, Schedule D, and gain/loss summary for your existing accountant. CPA filing through Settled is an optional add-on.
Yes. We review both as part of one engagement, including brokerage records, wallet transfers, trading activity, and DeFi. We confirm the scope and the sources we’ll need during your free review.
You can still start with a review. Tell us which years are involved and what records you have. We’ll assess the reconciliation work and whether you need help with prior-year or amended filings, then quote that scope separately.
Your transaction count, number of sources, years involved, and the complexity of the records determine the scope. Our published tiers are the starting point. We confirm your flat fee before work begins, and discuss any scope changes with you first.
That depends on the completeness of your records and the complexity of your activity. We agree on a realistic timeline during your review and let you know what’s needed to keep the work moving. If you have a filing deadline, mention it when you contact us.
